The Aquaculture 2025 conference in New Orleans included the announcement of the Best Paper and Best Dissertation Awards, presented by the International Association of Aquaculture Economics and Management (IAAEM), recognizing research in aquaculture economics and management.

Best Paper Award

Each year, the Best Paper Award in Aquaculture Economics & Management highlights research contributions to the field. This year, the selection process had an 80% response rate. Two papers were recognized, with one receiving an honorable mention.
